How to configure a custom white label domain on Pixifi

Add a new CNAME record to your studio's domain, and you'll be on your way!

Warning!
You must be able to edit your domain's custom DNS settings to use this feature. If that sounds like a foreign language to you, please do not proceed.

Have you ever wanted to use your own website's domain name to point to your various pages
in your Pixifi account? Well now you can!

You can turn "brandurl.pixifi.com" into "clients.yourdomainname.com" It's super easy!

First, you'll need to login to your domain's provider and create a DNS entry for this to work!

In their control panel, go to the DNS Manager, or DNS Zone file area, or whatever they happen to call it, and then create a CNAME record!

DNS Alias - This should be a subdomain like "clients" (or "client", whatever you want - pointing clients.yourdomain.com to Pixifi).

DNS Type - Choose CNAME for this

DNS URL/Host - Enter in your current brand URL here, it should be something like: husseyphoto.pixifi.com (enter exactly as shown in your brand settings)

Correct: husseyphoto.pixifi.com
Incorrect: husseyphoto.studioinquiry.com or husseyphoto.contactmystudio.com

Second, that you've setup your DNS settings, you'll need to add your custom domain into your Pixifi account!

Just go to Settings -> Brands -> (edit the brand you want to set it up for) -> Custom Domain

After you hit save remember that DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate across the entire internet, so when you try it out, it might not work right away. Just check back later.
