A step-by-step video for providing access to a client portal and promoting it to your clients
Sharing the setup link with a Client:
- Head to a client's record (Side Nav >> Clients >> Respective Client)
- Sending portal setup link (where a client creates their username and password)
- Sending manually via email or text:
- Under Additional Info, copy the 'Client Portal Setup' URL
- Paste in an email or text and send!
- Sending via email template:
- Head to Side Nav >> Email Templates >> Create New Template
- Name the Template and ensure 'Type' is set to 'Client'
- Add a subject line
- For the message section, ensure you include the following variable/tokens:
- Client Portal Setup URL - this link will take them to the setup page, where they can create an email and password
- Client Portal Login URL - this link will allow them to access the client portal moving forward
- Sending manually via email or text:
- Head back to the client record (Side Nav >> Clients >> Respective Client)
- Head to the 'Contact' tab and select Compose / Send >> Send Email
- Select the template you created and send!
How do I view a client's portal?
You can quickly see which clients have set up a portal by viewing this icon in the client tab:
