How to Setup a Brand(s) Client Portal

Useful definitions to help you choose widgets and a step-by-step video for configuring your client portal

The client portal is one of the most useful features in Pixifi, for both you and your clients. The portal allows clients to see what's happening in their transactions, get information about their contracts and events, and access event contact information, all without having to call or email you for updates.

Here's a quick breakdown of the respective widgets to help you choose what you want to include:

  • Estimates/Quotes—These are estimates/quotes (whatever you've decided to call them) that are set up as invoices but are not invoices. They are mostly used for commercial quotes.
  • Timelines - If you establish Timelines for your events, this is where your client can find them.
  • Info—This is all of the contact and specific data about your client. You definitely want this on your Visible Widgets.
  • Events—This shows each of the non-archived events that are available to your client, including dates, times, and other information about each event.
  • Projects - Sometimes you will want clients to be able to see any Projects you may have for them.
  • Invoices—This widget will show all current invoices, paid or not. It is a great reference for your client and offers the ability to open and print them out if needed.
  • Contracts - If there's no other reason to use the Client Portal, this is it. You can easily say "it's in the contract, which you can check in your portal" if there's confusion over specifics.
  • Galleries - This link/listing of galleries comes from the Pics tab on your Events.
  • Gift Cards - Any gift cards attributed to this client will be listed, and they can click on them to get balance and spending information for each card on file.
  • Documents - A listing of any documents you've added to the client's records.
